After breakfast on the first day of the safari, you will be picked up from your accommodation, given a briefing about the safari, and then taken on a 3- to 4-hour journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. The Lake Nakuru national park is a bird watchers paradise; the lake is beautifully coloured with pink-coloured flamingos. After arriving at the park, you will settle into your lodge, eat lunch and go on an afternoon game drive. In addition to flamingos, other park residents like white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, and many others can be seen during the game drive. After the game drive you will drive to your lodge, have dinner and overnight.
You will rise early for breakfast on the second day of your safari, check out of your lodging and depart for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The great migration of wildebeest is witnessed in the Masai Mara National Reserve, which is also home to other wildlife like lions, leopards, Masai giraffes, and many others. It is considered to be the eighth wonder of the world. It takes 6 hours to travel from Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve, so you will arrive in the park in the evening. En route, you will have lunch, and once you enter the park, you will go on an evening/night game drive during which you will see a variety of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and other species. Afterwards, drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After morning breakfast, you will drive to the for all day game drives, you will do both morning and evening game drives which offers a great opportunity to explore the parks depth and encounter several mammal species. Maasai mara is a home to the biggest population of animals ranging from the wildebeests, lions, Buffalos, elephants, Giraffes, leopard, cheetahs among other species. After the morning game drive, you will break for picnic lunch in one of designated sites in the park. Followed by afternoon game drive which goes on until evening where you will return to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay.
On the last day of our safari, you will rise early for breakfast, check out of your lodging and head out for another early morning game drive on the grassy plains of the park to seek out more game and explore other game tracks. Thereafter, you will exit the reserve and begin your return journey back to Nairobi. En route, you will stop for lunch in Narok Town, and once you arrive in Nairobi, you will be dropped off either at your hotel in Nairobi or at the airport for your departure flight.
